Overall Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Facultative and Specialty team as a Senior Broking Executive (Support). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling end to end broking documentations within the reinsurance broking industry, along with relevant insurance certifications as per MAS 502 requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with our broking team, supporting various facets of the facultative reinsurance documentation process for all lines of business, specifically Property and Casualty. Key Accountabilities
- Provide comprehensive end to end support to the broking team in managing documentation processes, including but not limited to preparation of cover notes, signed slips, endorsements, and EOCs and ensure accurate data entry into the broking system.
- Maintain and upkeep renewal listing and send reminders to brokers in a timely manner.
- Liaise with brokers, cedants, reinsurers and claims professionals, to ensure timely and accurate completion of broking documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of submission documents, proposals, and presentations for clients and reinsurers.
- Maintain organized records of all broking activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, including contract certainty.
- Collaborate with other departments such as finance and operations to facilitate seamless transaction processing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market developments to enhance broking support services.
- Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects as assigned byline manager and / or management (including travel / conference arrangements).
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in handling end to end broking documentations within the reinsurance industry.
- Possess relevant insurance certifications as per MAS 502 requirements (e.g., CGI, ACII, etc.).
- Strong understanding of facultative reinsurance processes and documentation requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelywithin a team.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
UIB Knowledge and Skills
- Netreibs (Reinsurance Broking System).
- Certification in General Insurance (CGI) or any other relevant qualifications to perform the role as per MAS 502 Fit &Proper guidelines.
