Employment Type: Full-Time (Contract)
Contract Period: 1 August 2026 – 31 December 2028
Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Note: No work on Saturdays, Sundays, Singapore Public Holidays, and during the entire months of
June and December each year (school holidays).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare laboratories for daily practical lessons and practical examinations.
Dispense chemicals and prepare laboratory reagents.
Set up laboratory apparatus, glassware, chemicals, safety goggles, and other teaching materials.
Collect, clean, and store laboratory equipment after practical sessions.
Safely dispose of laboratory chemicals according to safety procedures.
Wash and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment.
Replenish bench reagents before the start of each school term.
Support inventory arrangement and laboratory organization.
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Science Laboratory Technician.
Requirements
Education
- Primary school qualification or equivalent.
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of science laboratory operations.
- Basic knowledge of chemical preparation and handling.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in a science laboratory.
- Relevant experience obtained between 1 January 2022 and the application closing date will be considered.

Experience supporting school science laboratories
Familiar with laboratory safety procedures
Experience handling chemicals and laboratory equipment
Able to maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory facilities
