Cybersecurity PM (Project Manager) - Banking

Job Description

  • Support and drive cybersecurity initiatives, including regulatory fit-gap assessments, privileged access management enhancements, and network segmentation improvements.
  • The role will be responsible for project governance, stakeholder coordination, progress tracking, risk management, and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and track cybersecurity projects and initiatives across the organization.
  • Monitor project scope, timeline, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and management updates.
  • Coordinate with Cybersecurity, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders.
  • Support project governance, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis against regulatory and security requirements and track remediation plans.
  • Drive cybersecurity initiatives to strengthen security controls and regulatory compliance.
  • Support and improve privileged ID onboarding workflows, including CyberArk, SailPoint, and Splunk integrations.
  • Collaborate with technology and security teams to improve network segmentation and security architecture.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Track project budgets, vendor performance, and resource utilization.

Requirements

  • Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Management, or Program Management.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, technology, or banking-related projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of project governance, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
  • Experience conducting fit-gap assessments against regulatory, compliance, and security requirements.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in banking or financial services environments.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity domains such as Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), SOC, Cloud Security, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Experience with CyberArk, SailPoint, Splunk, and other cybersecurity platforms.
  • Knowledge of network security and network segmentation and access control frameworks.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity transformation and governance initiatives within banking or financial services.
