Sales Manager

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth,managing customer relationships, and supporting the adoption of products andservices within assigned territories or customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, laboratory directors, clinicians, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Present and promote products, technologies, services, and workflows to prospective and existing customers.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training sessions.
  • Collaborate with technical support, field application scientists, marketing, and product management teams to ensure customer success.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, and account activities using CRM systems.
  • Attend scientific conferences, trade shows, and industry events to represent the organization and generate leads.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in life sciences, genomics, biotechnology, molecular diagnostics, or scientific sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of genomics and molecular biology concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and account management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
