Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to support test engineering operations, optimize test equipment performance, and ensure production requirements are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting test systems while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize test resources to maximize test equipment uptime and capacity to support production requirements.
• Modify, install, and improve test systems, equipment, and test procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test hardware and software issues to achieve zero Test Process Failure (TPF).
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on test equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop and implement Test Time Reduction (TTT) initiatives for all products.
• Modify and enhance test software to improve test methods and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation systems for test processes and equipment.
• Control costs and support budget forecasting and expenditure planning.
• Provide technical training and guidance to Test Engineering Assistants and Technicians.
• Participate in employee involvement teams and continuous improvement activities.
• Support and execute special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in test engineering, manufacturing, or electronics production environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in test hardware and software systems.
• Knowledge of test equipment, test procedures, and process improvement methodologies.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
