Role Overview
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors. In this role, you will help clients maintain or regain independence in their daily activities, enabling them to live purposeful, fulfilling lives. The primary goal is to add vibrancy to their senior years, supporting their physical and cognitive recovery after illness or surgery so they can reclaim their functional independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient evaluations using standardized outcome measures.
- Develop and implement customized therapy plans with clear goal-setting.
- Deliver professional physiotherapy treatments directly within the home environment.
- Conduct caregiver training and provide expert advice on equipment prescriptions.
- Oversee discharge planning and facilitate referrals to external services when necessary.
- Participate in monthly home therapy meetings and contribute to departmental in-service training.
- Manage essential administrative duties to support clinical care.
Requirements
- Possess a recognized Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced team environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Google Suite applications.

- Flexibility and willingness to travel to various locations for work.
- Comfortable operating effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
