Hours
Working Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm | Saturday ($12/hr)
1. Centre Opening & Closing
- Arrive by 8.30am to open the centre and prepare the front desk for operations
- Ensure classrooms, waiting area, and common spaces are tidy and ready before first class
- At end of shift, secure the centre (lock up, switch off lights/aircon, throw away thrash bag)
2. Student Check-In & Attendance
- Register students upon arrival and mark attendance accurately in the system
- Flag any no-shows or latecomers to the relevant tutor promptly
- Ensure no student leaves the centre unaccompanied without parent authorisation
3. Parent & Walk-In Enquiry Handling
- Greet parents and walk-in enquiries warmly and professionally
- Take note of any special parent request and inform teacher where relevant
- Provide accurate information on class schedules, fees, and available subjects
- Collect enquiry details and update enrolment team
- Escalate complex questions (pricing negotiations, complaints, special requests) to the enrolment team
4. Fee Collection & Payment Processing
- Check-in & follow-up on late payment cases
5. Administrative & Paperwork Support
- Prepare and distribute class materials, worksheets, or administrative documents as directed by tutors
- Maintain organised student files and update records (contact details, class changes) in the system
- Print, file, and manage any centre notices or parent communications
6. In-Centre Coordination
- Liaise between parents, tutors, and management to relay messages and resolve minor operational issues
- Monitor the waiting area and ensure a safe, orderly environment for students at all times
- Contact parents for early pick-up or late arrivals when required
- Order lunch and ensure students receive their food selection correctly
7. Branch Upkeep & Inventory
- Conduct a stock check at the start and/or end of each shift for stationery, printed materials, and snacks; record quantities against the stock tracker
- Flag low-stock items to operations team for top-up
- Replenish snacks, stationery, and consumables from the designated storage area when stock runs low
- Return all loose items (student belongings, classroom materials, equipment) to their designated storage locations before end of shift
- Ensure all classrooms, the waiting area, the pantry, and common spaces are left tidy and reset to standard layout
- Report any maintenance issues (faulty equipment, damaged furniture, cleanliness concerns) to the branch manager on the same day with a photo where possible
8. End-of-Day CleanlinessProtocol
To be completed beforeclosing, covering all classrooms, the waiting area, and common spaces:
- Vacuum all floor areas thoroughly
- Vacuum all tabletops to remove dust, eraser bits, and debris
- Wipe down all tabletops with a damp cloth
- Spot-clean any visible stains on the floor and doors
- Dispose of all visible trash and litter in the appropriate bins
- Ensure all loose papers and worksheets are consolidated into the designated common tray
