  • Material Management: Inspecting and procuring construction materials upon delivery to ensure they meet project specifications and prevent shortages.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Reading construction plans, drawings, and specifications to guide the team accurately.
  • Site Inspections: Conducting routine and critical-phase inspections to ensure the work adheres to local building codes, design specs, and quality standards.
  • Defect Management: Identifying errors, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring that completed work is accepted by the next trade in line.
  • Enforcing Protocols: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, such as emphasizing daily toolbox meetings and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Hazard Prevention: Proactively preventing unsafe conditions, work interruptions, and code violations.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Scheduling and running regular meetings with vendors, architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Progress Tracking: Preparing daily or weekly progress reports and communicating project delays to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Budget Monitoring: Helping keep track of project expenditures to ensure they remain within the assigned financial limits.
