  • Drawing Take-Offs: Measuring and calculating the quantities of materials (e.g., concrete, steel, drywall) directly from architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Cost Estimation: Assisting in the preparation of preliminary budgets, cost plans, and analyzing rates for labor, plant, and materials.
  • Tendering Support: Gathering quotes from suppliers and compiling data to help prepare tender and contract documents for bidding.
  • Valuation of Works: Conducting site visits to measure and evaluate completed works and ensuring it matches the project specifications.
  • Subcontractor Management: Preparing and processing interim payment applications and accounts for subcontractors.
  • Variation Tracking: Identifying changes made to the original design, assessing their financial impact, and updating the project budget accordingly.
  • Material Requisition: Tracking inventory on site and assisting the site management team in ordering additional materials as needed.
  • Final Accounts: Assisting in the preparation and settlement of the final accounts, reconciling all costs, variations, and claims.
  • Cost Reporting: Drafting regular cost-value reconciliation (CVR) reports to keep project managers and clients informed of the financial status.
  • Dispute Resolution: Compiling technical data, records, and measurement sheets to support senior surveyors in resolving contractual claims and disputes
