Key Responsibilities
Site Compliance: Understand project specifications and construction drawings to ensure all site activities comply with statutory regulations, building codes, and client requirements.
Method Statement Monitoring: Monitor site works closely to ensure contractor method statements and work procedures are strictly adhered to.
Structural Supervision: Competently carry out supervision of structural works, actively identifying and addressing any non-conformity in the contractor's site execution.
Consultant Alignment: Ensure the Builder executes all site works in strict accordance with the Consultant's instructions and design intent.
Drawing Review: Check engineering drawings for discrepancies, highlight findings to the Consultant, and suggest practical solutions to prevent project delays.
Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality inspections and quality control checks on all materials delivered and used for the project.
Site Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation of site inspection records, safety logs, and approved/as-built drawings.
Progress Reporting: Maintain and update comprehensive site records regarding work progress, site housekeeping, and prepare regular technical reports for management.
Progress Verification: Verify contractor progress payment claims in terms of actual work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on-site.
Testing & Commissioning: Witness all critical inspections, testing, and commissioning sessions performed by contractors to ensure absolute compliance with designs and specifications.
Stakeholder Reporting: Report directly to the project QP (Qualified Person) and the Project Consultants Team regarding on-site quality and progress.
Location / Commencement: Anywhere in Singapore / Immediate (ASAP).
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Registered RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
