Job Summary

As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper (Public Area), you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the public areas for a resort and attraction precinct in both indoor and outdoor environment.

As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper (Public Area), we rely on you to:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of all public areas on a daily basis
  • Coordinate daily work assignments for Public Area Attendants and Cleaners
  • Supervise the team to ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of all public areas
  • Ensure quality standards are consistently met by conducting routine inspections of all public areas
  • Liaise with external contractors for specialised services, such as pest control and exterior cleaning
  • Manage operational expenses and maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Monitor and respond promptly to guest requests, feedback, and service recovery related to public areas
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene, and environmental standards

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in public area cleaning and supervision within a hotel, resort, or attraction in an outdoor environment
  • Possesses strong guest communication and engagement skills, with experience interacting with both international and domestic travellers
  • Has sound knowledge of housekeeping or public area operations in a hotel, resort, or attraction setting
  • Has knowledge of workplace safety practices and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
