Laboratory Trainee

As a Laboratory Trainee at Achievers Dream Learning Centre, you'll gain hands-on experience in one of Singapore's few NEA-approved Chemistry Laboratories. Working alongside experienced educators and laboratory mentors, you'll play an important role in supporting practical Science lessons while developing valuable laboratory, operational and professional skills.

Whether you're a fresh graduate or someone looking to build a career in Science / Chemistry education, this role offers structured training, mentorship and the opportunity to learn in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Laboratory Preparation & Operations

• Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals and materials for practical Science lessons.

• Assist with the setup and teardown of experiments while ensuring all laboratory safety procedures are followed.

• Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and readiness of the laboratory before and after each session.

• Perform routine checks on laboratory equipment and assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and consumables.

Supporting Practical Lessons

• Work alongside teachers during practical lessons to ensure sessions run smoothly and safely.

• Prepare teaching materials and laboratory resources required for each lesson.

• Support students during practical activities where appropriate under the guidance of teachers.

• Contribute to creating a safe, engaging and enjoyable hands-on learning experience.

Learning & Continuous Improvement

• Assist in developing, testing and refining practical experiments and laboratory activities.

• Participate in structured training, mentorship and regular coaching throughout the programme.

• Support operational projects and other laboratory-related duties as assigned.
