Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple IT infrastructure projects and programs, ensuring alignment with governance standards, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Own project planning, execution, tracking, reporting, and delivery governance across assigned portfolios.
- Ensure consistent adoption of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers across onshore and offshore locations.
- Allocate resources, balance workloads, and set delivery priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
- Provide coaching, performance guidance, and capability development to enhance team effectiveness and delivery discipline.
- Act as a deputy to the Team Lead in leadership forums, governance reviews, and stakeholder engagements.
- Support team strategy development, delivery roadmaps, resource planning, budgeting, and capacity management.
- Engage with business stakeholders, senior management, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Consolidate and present project status updates, key risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations to leadership.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, bottlenecks, and inter-project dependencies, driving timely resolution and escalation where required.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, audit requirements, compliance controls, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee vendor delivery performance and accountability against agreed service levels and project objectives.
- Ensure all projects comply with organizational security, regulatory, and governance requirements.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of IT Project Management experience, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership, supervisory, or team management capacity.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent IT infrastructure projects and programs.
- Strong track record of leading, mentoring, and developing teams of Project Managers.
- Solid experience in stakeholder management, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience working within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex escalations, resolve conflicts, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively at executive level.
- Strong ownership mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach to delivery leadership.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure domains, including network, server, cloud, and data centre environments.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification.
- ITIL certification.
- Experience operating within APAC regulatory environments.
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise infrastructure transformation programs.
