Accounts Receivable Assistant - WCAN

Responsibilities
- Assist with timely and accurate month-end closing and preparation of financial reports for management.
- Perform day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare, issue, and monitor invoices, including following up on outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Liaise with external parties, including auditors, tax agents, and vendors, as required.
- Support compliance with statutory and financial reporting requirements, including tax filings, audits, and internal procedures.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of finance processes and accounting systems.
- Oversee daily office administration and ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications
- Strong numerical aptitude with a high level of accuracy in processing and analysing financial information.
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance-related role is an added advantage.
- Sound understanding of fundamental accounting principles, financial processes, and best practices.
