Legal Associate (Financial Regulatory)

We are working exclusively with an established, premier law firm in Singapore looking to expand its high-performing Financial Regulatory practice. This new headcount is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer to handle sophisticated advisory and compliance work for top-tier financial institutions, fintech innovators, and global fund managers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and structuring licensing applications for Submission to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

• Provide clear legal advice on compliance frameworks including the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), Financial Advisers Act (FAA), Payment Services Act (PSA), and AML/CFT regulations.

• Draft, review, and enhance internal regulatory compliance policies, operational workflows, and client onboarding agreements.

• Research and advise on the impact of local and global regulatory changes on regional and cross-border business models.

Requirements

• 0–3 years PQE (Singapore Qualified).

• We warmly welcome Newly Qualified (NQ) lawyers with a strong academic background, as well as practice switchers—associates currently in corporate or dispute resolution who have a genuine passion for transitioning into the regulatory space.

• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
