We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Piano Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in piano performance and teaching, but also enjoys working with students of different ages and levels, and is committed to inspiring a love for music.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct engaging and effective one-to-one piano lessons
Teach students across a range of levels (beginner to intermediate/advanced)
Prepare students for ABRSM/Trinity examinations where applicable
Incorporate aural skills, music theory, and musical understanding into lessons
Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/students
Participate in school events such as recitals, masterclasses, and workshops
Maintain professionalism and punctuality in all lessons
Requirements
Minimum Degree in Music
Prior teaching experience is an advantage
Strong foundation in technique, musicality, and pedagogy
Familiarity with ABRSM or Trinity syllabus
Patient, responsible, and able to connect well with children and adults
Good communication skills
Preferred Qualities
Passion for holistic music education (beyond exams)
Ability to teach aural skills and musicianship effectively
Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
Interest in contributing to a growing music school environment
Working Hours
Primarily weekends and/or weekday afternoons/evenings
Flexible scheduling based on teacher availability
