- BIM Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance and integration of digital models, ensuring they align with project specifications and industry standards, including managing the BIM execution plan and ensuring all stakeholders adhere to it.
- Collaboration and Communication: Act as a liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, facilitating effective communication and ensuring that all parties have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
- Clash Detection and Resolution: Perform clash detection checks to identify conflicts between different disciplines and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve these issues before construction begins.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on the BIM models to identify and rectify discrepancies, ensuring that everyone is proficient in using the technology effectively. Documentation and reporting: Maintain project documentation, including workflows and decisions, and produce detailed reports to keep stakeholders informed about the project's progress and challenges.
