Paralegal (12-Month Contract), Global Asset Management Firm

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join the Legal & Compliance team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional to gain exposure to a sophisticated and highly regulated investment management environment while supporting a dynamic international business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal and administrative support to the Legal team across APAC.
  • Assist with the review, drafting, and negotiation of legal agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and investment-related documentation.
  • Manage and maintain contract lifecycle processes, including execution, filing, and tracking of legal documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on regulatory and corporate matters.
  • Support fund launches and ongoing fund governance activities.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and service providers on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Assist with corporate secretarial activities, including board resolutions and statutory filings where required.
  • Maintain legal databases, document repositories, and matter trackers.
  • Support legal projects, policy updates, and regulatory initiatives.

Requirements

  • Law degree, legal studies qualification, or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years of paralegal, legal executive, or contracts management experience, preferably within financial services, asset management, banking, or a multinational corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of contract review and legal documentation processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience supporting investment management, funds, or financial services legal teams will be advantageous.
