We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join the Legal & Compliance team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional to gain exposure to a sophisticated and highly regulated investment management environment while supporting a dynamic international business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal and administrative support to the Legal team across APAC.
- Assist with the review, drafting, and negotiation of legal agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and investment-related documentation.
- Manage and maintain contract lifecycle processes, including execution, filing, and tracking of legal documentation.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on regulatory and corporate matters.
- Support fund launches and ongoing fund governance activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and service providers on legal and regulatory matters.
- Assist with corporate secretarial activities, including board resolutions and statutory filings where required.
- Maintain legal databases, document repositories, and matter trackers.
- Support legal projects, policy updates, and regulatory initiatives.
Requirements
- Law degree, legal studies qualification, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of paralegal, legal executive, or contracts management experience, preferably within financial services, asset management, banking, or a multinational corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of contract review and legal documentation processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting investment management, funds, or financial services legal teams will be advantageous.
