Associate Lecturer - Creativity for Advertising (HE7)

This course introduces you to the role of creativity in advertising and the theories that underpin it. You will explore the relationship between creativity and effective communication and apply creative practices to produce advertising concepts and campaigns. You will use creative principles, practices and technologies to generate creative and effective solutions to communication problems across various advertising channels and contexts.

  • A Ph.D or Master's Degree in a Communications-related discipline from a reputable university.

  • At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred.

  • 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage.

  • Applicant must be able to teach day-time classes.

Candidates must be able to handle a sizeable class, manage assessment marking and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline. Associates will work closely under the guidance of the course coordinator based in the partner university.
