Full-Stack Backend-Focused Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot backend technologies and modern React frontend development. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and enhancement of innovative financial applications supporting internal users and clients within Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot and React.
• Build, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Implement and support Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures.
• Drive engineering best practices across the technology stack.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional technology teams.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across frontend and backend systems.
• Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in full-stack software engineering or similar roles.
• Strong backend expertise with working proficiency in frontend technologies.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Backend

• Java 17 or above (preferably Java 21).
• Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem (MVC, Data, Security, Cloud).
• Microservices or modular application architecture.
• Relational databases such as MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
• SQL performance tuning and optimization.
• RESTful API development.
• Messaging technologies such as Kafka or IBM MQ.
• Unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, or Karate.
• Understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.

Frontend

• React (React 19 preferred; earlier versions will also be considered).
• TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Redux, Redux Toolkit (RTK), and RTK Query.
• Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture using Module Federation or Single-SPA.
• HTML5 and CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, responsive design).
• CSS-in-JS frameworks such as Styled Components or Emotion.
• Frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Performance optimization techniques including code splitting and lazy loading.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries such as Storybook.
