Scope of work:
- Supervise detention sessions, reflection activities, and restorative practices for students referred for behavioural concerns.
- Assist HOD Discipline and relevant staff in conducting fact-finding investigations related to student incidents, including gathering statements and corroborating information.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of incidents, interventions, and follow-up actions.
- Manage student management records and databases, including data extraction, case tracking, trend analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Monitor students with recurring behavioural concerns and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of restorative and developmental approaches to student behaviour management.
- Respond promptly to student-related incidents requiring immediate attention and support.
- Assist in coordinating interventions, student supervision, and follow-up actions during periods of high demand.
- Support school-wide student management initiatives and events as required.
- Monitor programme effectiveness and provide feedback to improve future initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Childhood Psychology/ Social work/ Counselling, or related fields.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant work experiences in counselling, social work or disciplinary enforcement, preferably in a primary school setting. All personnel must provide a list of current and past working experiences.
- Calm disposition with a fair and objective mindset.
- Resourceful and good problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional conflict resolution, de-escalation and communication skills with stakeholders.
Contract Duration: From 3 August 2026 to 24 November 2026.
Working Arrangement
- Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 2:30pm.
- Services not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
Location: Bedok
Salary: $3,300 per month
