Pressed Floral Artist Assistant

Finely Pressed is a creative studio dedicated to preserving meaningful floral memories through pressed botanical art. We specialise in transforming fresh flowers into timeless keepsakes, from framed arrangements to bespoke resin pieces. We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Pressed Floral Artist Assistant to join our team and support the floral preservation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the pressing, drying, and arranging of flowers for preservation.
• Carefully handle delicate blooms and ensure quality control throughout the process.
• Support the design and layout of pressed floral compositions for frames and other art pieces.
• Assemble and frame completed floral artworks, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare and maintain pressing materials, tools, and workspace cleanliness.
• Help with resin work for floral preservation projects.
• Pack and prepare completed artworks for delivery to clients.
• Occasionally assist with workshops, events, and customer inquiries.

Requirements

• Able to commit to 2-3 working days per week.
• Passion for flowers, botanical art, and hands-on creative work.
• Strong attention to detail and patience when handling delicate flowers.
• Good sense of aesthetics and composition for floral arrangements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Prior experience with pressed flowers, floral arrangement, or resin art is a plus but not required — training will be provided.
• Comfortable working in a studio environment with occasional customer interactions.
