Assistant Finance Manager

Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance Manager / CFO in overseeing daily finance operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury, budgeting and financial control matters.
- Support timely and accurate month-end closing, year-end closing, financial reporting and management reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, accounting schedules, tax-related documents and statutory reporting materials.
- Assist in cash flow management, bank account coordination, receivables tracking, payment processing and treasury-related reporting.
- Support project finance and overseas finance operations, including project accounting, cost tracking, financial data compilation and reporting to management.
- Coordinate with internal departments, project teams, auditors, tax agents, banks and external service providers on finance-related matters.
- Assist in improving finance processes, internal controls, reporting templates and finance system workflows.
- Support the implementation, optimisation and daily operation of finance digitalisation systems, including expense, reimbursement and financial reporting platforms.
- Prepare finance reports, analysis materials and coordination documents in English and Chinese for internal management and headquarters reporting.
- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Accounting, Business, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in finance, accounting, project finance, treasury, financial reporting or overseas finance operations.
- Prior experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, project-based or multinational companies will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax documentation, internal controls and finance operation processes.
- Familiarity with Singapore financial reporting standards, GST and company tax will be an advantage.
- Experience in finance digitalisation, ERP systems, expense management platforms or integrated financial systems will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Able to work with project teams, finance teams, auditors, banks and internal stakeholders.
- Able to prepare reports and coordination materials in both English and Chinese to support communication with internal stakeholders and headquarters.
