Google Store Sales Operations Lead

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in e-commerce sales operations, demand forecasting, pipeline management, or retail commercial operations.
- Experience conducting quantitative analysis, funnel analysis, or elasticity studies using data tools (e.g., SQL, spreadsheets).
- Experience managing product lifecycles, promotional campaigns, or retail product launches.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience consistently delivering business results despite issues.
- Understanding of APAC cultural and e-commerce trends.
- Ability to present and deliver key messages to internal and external audiences, build relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.
- Ability to analyze and make meaning out of data and translate that into actionable changes, with excellent problem solving and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good project management and problem-solving skills, with an excellent attention to detail.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
The Devices and Services Business organization focuses on Google-branded hardware such as Nest, Pixel and others and key subscription services such as Google One.
Our team is the business arm for Devices and Services, responsible for delivering the P&L results and for leading partnerships with our carriers, retailers, distributors, and enterprise verticals, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals.
Our team is also responsible for driving our direct to consumer sales via the Google Store, by driving retail rate recommendations in stores and by ensuring that our presence in-store and online is top notch. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product and engineering, finance, and legal teams internally, and with our retail and carrier counterparts across these disciplines.
The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for products such as Pixel, Google Wifi, Google Nest Thermostat, Chromecast Ultra and Google Home.
Responsibilities
- Drive APAC gStore business processes and operations to grow business, through forecasting, promotions management, and pipeline management for hardware and wearables. Serve as the sales operations lead for Pixel phones, Pixel ecosystem, Wearables, Home and Health for APAC GStore.
- Grow and manage gStore business and impact across key Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets, specifically Japan, India, Australia, Taiwan, and Singapore.
- Run in-depth, funnel analysis, and elasticity studies to identify growth opportunities and solve business issues, focusing on analysis rather than relying on external data analysts.
- Manage core e-commerce sales operations within Google hardware, including upcoming product launches, lifecycle management, and the direct ownership of commercial metrics.
- Lead key sales operations workflows that utilise gStore as the primary channel for acquiring and retaining users across the APAC ecosystem, ensuring clear alignment with commercial goals.
