Marine Surveyor

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site marine surveys, inspections and investigations, including Flag State Inspections (FSI).
- Prepare professional, accurate and timely survey reports in English.
- Liaise with clients, overseas offices and internal departments throughout the survey process.
- Attend vessels, shipyards and terminals as required.
- Participate in technical training and continuous professional development provided by the Company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master Mariner (Master Unlimited) or Chief Engineer (Class I) Certificate of Competency, or equivalent maritime qualification.
- Candidates with previous experience as a Flag State Inspector (FSI), Classification Society Surveyor, Port State Control (PSC) Inspector, or Marine Surveyor will be given preference.
- Sound knowledge of international maritime conventions, including SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as under pressure.
- Willing to travel and work overtime when required.
