Application Manager / Analyst – Payments (HSM EOL Project / Mandarin / Banking)

We are looking for an experienced Application Manager / Analyst for our client in Singapore which is a leading global investment bank. The successful candidate will support critical payment applications within a banking environment, with a key focus on the Hardware Security Module (HSM) End-of-Life (EOL) migration programme.

He/she will be responsible for managing production applications, supporting application enhancements and technology refresh initiatives, coordinating with infrastructure and security teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of HSM-related changes with minimal impact to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support mission-critical payment applications in a production environment.
  • Support the delivery of HSM End-of-Life (EOL) migration activities across payment platforms.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, information security, vendors, and application teams to plan and execute migration activities.
  • Perform application impact assessments and support system integration with new HSM platforms.
  • Analyse production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate timely incident resolution.
  • Support application releases, production deployments, change requests, and post-implementation activities.
  • Execute and coordinate SIT, UAT, and production validation testing.
  • Monitor application health and ensure system availability and performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, operational procedures, and support documentation.
  • Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes following ITIL best practices.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand application requirements and coordinate enhancement requests.
  • Liaise with global and regional technology teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Application Support, Application Management, Production Support, or Application Analyst roles within banking or financial services.
  • Experience supporting payment applications or transaction processing platforms.
  • Multilingual in English and Mandarin to interact with Stakeholders in Taiwan
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience supporting production environments.
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management.
  • Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows server environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
