Quantity Surveyor (Hotel Interior Fit-Out)

Job Description

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for hotel interior fit-out and renovation projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare cost comparisons and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Manage project costs, monitor budgets, and track variations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certifications, and final accounts.
• Administer subcontractor contracts, including payment assessments and variation orders.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and clients on commercial matters.
• Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation.
• Support procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and subcontractor services.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for interior fit-out, hotel renovation, or commercial construction projects.
• Experience in cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, variation claims, and final accounts.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, fit-out works, and market pricing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with AutoCAD, CostX, Cubit, or other quantity surveying software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in luxury hotel, hospitality, or high-end interior fit-out projects will be an advantage.
