MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and perform corrective repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic faults using precision measuring and diagnostic tools.
• Assembly & Installation: Assemble, install, and calibrate new or relocated machinery according to engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in equipment assembly, industrial machinery maintenance, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong blueprint/schematic reading, proficiency with hand/power tools, and basic troubleshooting capabilities.
