Job Description
- Plan, manage, and oversee daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate site operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor construction progress and resolve site issues promptly.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company policies.
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Review work progress and prepare project reports for management.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Support project completion, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in building construction or interior fit-out projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and site operations.
- Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and construction resources.
- Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, and quality standards.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and project management software is an advantage.
- Experience in commercial, hospitality, or high-end interior fit-out projects will be an advantage.
