Principal Manager/Senior Manager/Manager, Organisation Development [SPD]

SKILLS AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (FORMER WSG)

You will play a key role in the Strategic Planning Division as an individual contributor and/or team lead, supporting the development of SWDA’s strategic direction, policy work and driving organisational development efforts that strengthen SWDA’s organisational effectiveness, culture, operating model and readiness for change. This includes working across SWDA to translate strategy into organisation-wide change efforts, strengthen alignment across divisions, and build organisational capacity for the future. Your responsibilities may include the following:

· Support strategic planning work to ensure OD efforts are anchored on SWDA’s long-term direction and priorities

· Ensure OD interventions are aligned to SWDA’s mission, priorities and operating context

· Work with divisions to translate strategic priorities into coordinated OD plans, change initiatives and capability-building efforts

· Drive organisation development initiatives to strengthen SWDA’s effectiveness, culture and ways of working

· Diagnose organisational issues using data, staff feedback and stakeholder insights, and recommend practical interventions to address root causes

· Design and implement OD interventions that support SWDA’s transformation, including organisation design, culture-building, staff engagement and change management

· Develop frameworks, tools and engagement platforms and collaborate with relevant divisions to strengthen organisational alignment, collaboration and readiness for change

· Partner relevant divisions, including Strategic Comms and HR, to support clear, coherent communication and engagement around strategic and organisational change priorities

· Build OD capability and sustain organisation-wide change

o Work with divisions to embed new ways of working, clarify roles and interfaces, and strengthen collaboration across SWDA

o Partner HR, Corporate Planning and other divisions on Strategic Workforce Planning projects, build OD practices, change management capability and staff engagement channels

o Enhance organisational capacity to respond to internal and external challenges through planning, coordination and capability-building efforts

o Track progress, surface organisational risks and issues, and support leaders and change champions in sustaining implementation

Knowledge/Skills

· Excellent writing and communication skills

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and able to understand issues beyond the surface

· Good project management and problem-solvingskills

· Good understanding of organisation development, change management, organisation design and/or culture-building concepts

· Have a good understanding of public governance and its principles

· Familiarity with staff engagement, pulse surveys, data analysis and insights generation is preferred
