Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of company accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of AR, AP, and GL transactions.
- Handle monthly GIRO and ad-hoc payments, prepare quarterly GST submissions, and support the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial and management reports.
- Process and verify monthly expense claims.
- Prepare accounting schedules, accounts reconciliation and management and cash flow reports.
- Assist in formulating accounting policies and strategies, financial and management accounting, costing, taxation and all finance-related matters.
- Ensure all payments and receipts are properly authorized and accurately recorded.
- Perform intercompany account reconciliations with related entities.
- Carry out monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and sub-ledger.
- Support statutory reporting by liaising with external auditors, corporate secretarial agents and tax agents, including audit schedules and tax-related queries.
- Verify purchase orders raised by the Property Management Department.
- Provide support to the Assistant Finance Manager & Finance Director in timely reporting to Management.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by management or supervisors from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum LCCI, CAT/ACCA Foundation in Accountancy, Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in handling full sets of accounts and preparing management reports.
- Prior experience in property management, real estate administration, or F&B operations will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, well-organised, and able to work independently.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and accounting software such as ABSS/MYOB.
- Able to start work immediately or at short notice is preferred.
