Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead the company's sales growth and business development. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving revenue, building strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team to position Gem Flora Wedding & Events as one of Singapore's leading wedding and event brands.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue and profit targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities across weddings, ROMs, corporate events, social celebrations, and venue partnerships.
  • Build strong relationships with hotels, country clubs, restaurants, developers, event venues, and corporate clients.
  • Expand market presence through strategic collaborations and partnerships.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed sales targets.
  • Establish clear KPIs, sales objectives, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a customer-focused and high-performance sales culture.

Client Relationship Management

  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their event requirements.
  • Prepare customised proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and successfully close high-value projects.
  • Maintain long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Marketing Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
  • Represent the company at bridal shows, exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Identify emerging market trends and recommend new service offerings.

Financial Management

  • Prepare annual sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor sales performance and profitability.
  • Ensure healthy gross profit margins on all projects.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports for management.
Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience.
  • At least 3–5 years in a senior sales management or leadership role.
  • Experience in weddings, hospitality, luxury events, hotels, banquets, or event management is highly preferred.
