Responsibilities

  • Maintain full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis for management review.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with SFRS(I)/IFRS and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation and consolidated financial statements
  • Monitor project costs, accruals, provisions, and cost allocations to projects and cost centers.
  • Support progress billings, revenue recognition, contract accounting, and project analysis.
  • Review supplier invoices, subcontractor claims, and project-related expenditures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries on audit, tax and statutory matters.
  • Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and working papers for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in GST reporting, corporate tax compliance, and statutory submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SGX regulations, internal controls and Group policies.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Support implementation of new accounting standards, ERP systems, and finance transformation projects.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline. Professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction, project-based or listed company environments.
  • Knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS, GST, corporate tax and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of core accounting principles and group consolidation.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Capable of managing tight deadlines and changing priorities.
