We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Product (High-net-worth).

In this role you will

  • Lead and drive the High Net Worth/Legacy needs product strategy and product roadmap to deliver the Company’s growth priorities, customer outcomes and commercial objectives. Product scope includes (but is not limited to) Universal Life, Indexed linked plans, Variable Universal Life, participating and investment-linked plans and other HNW-focused solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end product development for new and enhanced product propositions, taking ownership of end-to-end product and proposition readiness from conceptualization to launch including necessary post launch oversight and support.
  • Build strong culture of product innovation through structured engagement with distribution partners and internal stakeholders to identify customer needs, validate concepts and refine propositions.
  • Translate market intelligence into actionable recommendations through competitive benchmarking, customer insights and trend analysis to optimise product design, positioning and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead adherence to MAS requirements, LIA guidelines, and internal governance frameworks, ensuring robust documentation, appropriate approvals, and effective risk controls across the product lifecycle.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Actuarial, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Ops, Tech, Distribution and Product Delivery Project Manaagers) to execute product delivery plans and launch products on time and to agreed quality standards.
  • Regularly review portfolio performance and market trends; recommend enhancements and rationalization, balancing customer proposition, distribution feedback, conduct risk and financial sustainability.
  • Lead and develop the team: build capability, manage prioritization, process optimization and resourcing and ensure delivery against commitments (Lead)

To be successful you will need

  • 10+ years experience in life insurance product development, with strong knowledge of the HNW and legacy planning solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to shape product strategy and deliver end-to-end product development
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience balancing customer proposition, distribution needs, profitability and risk
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and manage stakeholders across diverse functions with a proactive mindset to improve ways of working – identifying optimization opportunities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to turn market/competitor insights into clear recommendations and business cases.
  • Degree in Actuarial, Business, Finance, Insurance or related discipline (preferred).
