Primary and Secondary English Teacher
Part-time and full-time positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Teach English to primary and/or secondary school students
- Prepare and conduct engaging, structured lessons
- Help students improve their grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing and oral communication skills
- Familiarise students with the MOE syllabus and examination requirements
- Mark students’ work and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Monitor students’ progress and communicate with parents when necessary
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Familiarity with MOE syllabus
- Prior teaching or tuition experience is an advantage
- Patient, responsible and able to communicate well with children and parents
- Able to commit to a regular teaching schedule
- Current or former MOE teachers are especially welcome to apply
