Waste Collection Crew (Bukit Merah Depot) - Day/Night Shift Available

Job Summary

Assist in collecting and disposing of waste and recyclables from municipal, industrial, and commercial sites while ensuring safety and cleanliness according to company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect waste materials and recyclables from municipal, industrial, and commercial premises following company procedures
• Guide the driver safely during collection activities, including vehicle reversing
• Assist in disposing of waste and recyclables at material recovery facilities, C&D plants, or authorized disposal sites
• Clean and reinstate work areas by managing spillages of refuse and oil and addressing overflowing refuse
• Handle equipment and receptacles properly to maintain operational efficiency and safety
• Clean and wash collection vehicles daily to maintain hygiene standards
• Perform waste collection tasks safely in compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Follow workplace safety and health requirements, including wearing proper PPE and safety boots

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Physical fitness to perform manual waste collection tasks
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Other Information

• Location: Bukit Merah Depot
• Work schedule: 6 days per week with one rest day
• Working hours: 6:30 pm to 2:50 am, including overtime
