Air Freight Export Customer Service Manager

Join a dynamic team where your leadership will enhance operations within the Air Freight Division. This role focuses on managing client relationships while fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client interactions, ensuring expectations regarding sales, finance, and operations are met.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, sales, customer service, and operations teams.

• Mentor and develop team members to align with the organization’s growth objectives.

• Utilize strong delegation skills to effectively lead and manage departmental functions.

• Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions to ensure continued operational stability.

• Ensure accurate and timely management of billing, invoicing, and client payments among all relevant parties.

• Conduct regular KPI reviews to promote ongoing department improvement without engaging in daily tasks performed by team members.

• Serve as the primary liaison among customers, operations, and sales throughout the shipment process until billing is finalized.

• Adapt to changes in service scope to meet evolving customer needs.

Requirements

• Relevant educational qualifications in management or a related field.

• Proven experience in a leadership capacity with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

• Experience with Cargowise One or similar systems is preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team to achieve departmental goals.

• Willingness to work overtime as required to complete tasks.

• A strong customer-centric approach with key account management skills.
