Group Head, Human Resources ($15k to $20k)

Location: Singapore (Regional Role)

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

About the Opportunity

Our client is a regional technology and manufacturing group undergoing a strategic transformation from a precision manufacturing business into an innovation-driven semiconductor solutions provider. Alongside business expansion and recent acquisitions, the organisation is strengthening its design, engineering and research capabilities to accelerate product innovation and long-term growth.

The Group Head of Human Resources will lead the people strategy across the organisation, supporting both operational excellence and innovation. This role requires a strategic HR leader who can partner with senior leadership to develop organisational capability, strengthen workforce planning, support regional integration, and foster a high-performance culture across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement a regional HR strategy aligned with business objectives and organisational transformation.
  • Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and talent strategy.
  • Support post-acquisition integration initiatives, organisational effectiveness and change management.
  • Provide regular HR insights and workforce analytics to senior leadership to support informed business decisions.

Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning

  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract talent across manufacturing, engineering, design and corporate functions.
  • Build sustainable talent pipelines through industry networks, educational institutions and professional partnerships.
  • Strengthen succession planning and leadership development across the Group.
  • Implement retention strategies for critical positions and high-potential employees.

Organisation Development and Culture

  • Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, organisational culture and leadership capability.
  • Support integration across regional operations by promoting collaboration, shared values and effective communication.
  • Facilitate change management programmes associated with business growth and transformation.

Performance and Capability Development

  • Oversee performance management frameworks that align individual objectives with business priorities.
  • Support managers in coaching, performance conversations and employee development.
  • Develop learning and development programmes that enhance both operational and technical capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Lead the development and review of compensation, benefits and reward programmes to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Support job evaluation, grading and remuneration benchmarking.
  • Review incentive frameworks that align employee performance with business outcomes.

HR Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR governance requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Review and maintain HR policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Partner with regional stakeholders on employment compliance, employee relations and workforce risk management.

Mergers, Acquisitions and Integration

  • Support HR due diligence activities during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Lead HR integration activities, including organisation design, employee communications, policy harmonisation and workforce transition planning.

HR Systems and Analytics

  • Drive HR digitalisation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Enhance HR reporting and workforce analytics to support business planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology and automation.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
  • At least 12 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities within a regional or multi-site organisation.
  • Strong experience across the full spectrum of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, organisation development, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations and workforce planning.
  • Experience supporting organisational transformation, restructuring, business integration or large-scale change initiatives.
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, technology or related industries would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR governance and regional HR practices.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using workforce data to support business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in execution.
