Aircon and Refrigerating Equipment Mechanic

Job Scope
- Assist in the installation of residential and commercial air-conditioning and refrigerator systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of air-conditioners
- Diagnose and troubleshoot air-conditioning faults
- Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fan motors, capacitors, thermostats.
- Carry out chemical washing and chemical overhaul of air-conditioning units
- Clean and service indoor and outdoor units, including filters, coils, and drainage systems
- Test and commission newly installed air-conditioning systems
- Perform maintenance on mechanical ventilation and exhaust fan systems
- Ensure all work complies with workplace safety regulations and company procedures
- Complete service reports and update maintenance records
- Respond to customer service calls and provide basic technical advice to clients
- Handle emergency repair and breakdown calls when required
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good condition
Requirements
- Experience in air-conditioning, refrigerator servicing, and repair
- Able to carry out basic electrical and maintenance works
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights when necessary
- Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving licence (preferred for field servicing roles)
- Willing to work overtime when required
