Job Title: Confectionery Supervisor
Principal Activity: Manufacturing of confectionery and bakery products.
Job Description
- Supervise the daily production of confectionery and bakery products to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
- Develop new confectionery products and recommend improvements to existing products based on market trends and operational feasibility.
- Monitor production costs and optimize the use of ingredients and resources while maintaining product quality and consistency.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to ensure sufficient quantities of freshly baked products are available during peak sales periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure adequate stock of ingredients and prevent production disruptions.
- Supervise and work closely with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping within the kitchen and production areas.
- Train, guide, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and quality standards.
- Willing to work split shifts, for example from 3:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., based on operational requirements.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in confectionery or bakery production, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of confectionery production techniques, baking processes, and food safety practices.
- Ability to develop new products and improve existing product offerings.
- Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to operational requirements, including split shifts.
