Part Time Retail Lead

Part Time Retail Lead/Associate - 3 Days per Week - 8 Hour per Day

SALARY RANGE: $12 - $15 /hr depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced retail associate to take the helm at our new and growing Tavern Games TCG store. If you have prior experience running TCG store operations and love the collectibles community, this is your chance to be part of an exciting new TCG brand and influence our strategy from the ground up.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter to manage the retail floor, execute Pokemon tournaments, and drive our daily operations with minimal supervision.

Core Duties

• TCG Events & Tournament Management: Run weekly TCG events including Pokémon tournaments. Must have prior experience in Pokemon TCG and running Pokemon TCG tournaments.

• Sales & Front-of-House: Engage walk-in customers by answering queries and offering tailored product suggestions. Duties include maintaining the store in an tidy and presentable condition.

• POS Transaction Management: Accurately process customer payments via POS system across all standard platforms (Cash, NETS, PayNow, Credit).

• Stock Control & E-Commerce Fulfillment: During store lull periods, manage backend logistics, including receiving shipments, cross-checking invoices, and performing routine physical audits. Prepare, pack and dispatch online purchases for our e-commerce platform.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced & Self Starter: Prior experience in TCG retail stores is a must. You are able to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision.

• TCG and Pokemon Expertise: Experience with Pokemon TCG and Pokemon tournaments is highly advantageous, including knowlege of TCG markets in general.

• Commitment: Able to commit to retail hours

  3 days a week (including weekends)*, which strictly includes weekends to support major product launches and store tournaments.
