Digital Equipment Technician

PLAYON, Singapore’s new-generation digital sports play park, is looking for a hands-on Digital Equipment Technician to handle the daily maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of our digital sports and interactive entertainment equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance of all digital equipment
• Troubleshoot machine faults, system errors, sensor issues, software problems and connection failures
• Perform basic repairs, parts replacement, system resets, testing and calibration
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns during operating hours
• Maintain computers, screens, projectors, controllers, sensors, VR systems and related electronic equipment
• Record equipment faults, repair work and maintenance history
• Coordinate with suppliers and external technicians for complex technical issues
• Communicate directly with equipment manufacturers and technical teams in China
• Follow up on remote troubleshooting, spare parts, software updates and repair instructions
• Ensure all equipment is safe, operational and ready for customer use

Requirements

• Experience in electronics, electrical systems, IT support, equipment maintenance, arcade machines, VR equipment or amusement systems is preferred
• Basic knowledge of computers, networking, wiring, sensors and electronic components
• Able to diagnose technical problems and carry out practical troubleshooting
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese with equipment suppliers and technical teams in China
• Able to read and understand basic technical instructions in Chinese
• Responsible, hands-on and able to work independently
• Willing to learn and maintain different types of digital sports, simulator, VR and interactive equipment
• Must be able to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
• Comfortable working on a rotating shift schedule
