Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports daily outlet operations and leads team management to ensure smooth, safe activities and excellent customer service at PLAYON.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in coordinating daily outlet operations to maintain efficient workflow
- Supervise front desk, floor, and event staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards
- Monitor and ensure safe, smooth operation of all activity zones to provide a secure environment for guests
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries, feedback, and on-site incidents to maintain satisfaction and safety
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and task allocation to optimize team productivity and service quality
- Conduct regular equipment, cleanliness, and safety inspections to uphold operational standards
- Coordinate birthday parties, corporate events, and group bookings to support business growth
- Support achievement of sales targets and prepare basic operational reports to track performance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience in retail, F&B, indoor attractions, entertainment, or customer service
- Strong communication, customer service, and team leadership skills demonstrated through managing teams and customer interactions
- Ability to manage operational issues independently with a responsible, hands-on approach
- Comfortable working on a rotating shift schedule
Required competencies and certifications
- Availability to work on weekends, school holidays, and public holidays to meet operational needs
- Effective communication skills in English to interact with customers and staff
