Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports daily outlet operations and leads team management to ensure smooth, safe activities and excellent customer service at PLAYON.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in coordinating daily outlet operations to maintain efficient workflow
  • Supervise front desk, floor, and event staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards
  • Monitor and ensure safe, smooth operation of all activity zones to provide a secure environment for guests
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries, feedback, and on-site incidents to maintain satisfaction and safety
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and task allocation to optimize team productivity and service quality
  • Conduct regular equipment, cleanliness, and safety inspections to uphold operational standards
  • Coordinate birthday parties, corporate events, and group bookings to support business growth
  • Support achievement of sales targets and prepare basic operational reports to track performance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in retail, F&B, indoor attractions, entertainment, or customer service
  • Strong communication, customer service, and team leadership skills demonstrated through managing teams and customer interactions
  • Ability to manage operational issues independently with a responsible, hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working on a rotating shift schedule

Required competencies and certifications

  • Availability to work on weekends, school holidays, and public holidays to meet operational needs
  • Effective communication skills in English to interact with customers and staff
