Senior Camera Operator

About the Role

BoomX Commerce is an e-commerce company based in Singapore, specialising in social commerce across platforms such as TikTok Shop and Shopee. We are looking for a Senior Camera Operator to lead video production for our product listings, social media channels, and livestream commerce campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, shooting, and editing of video content for product showcases, brand campaigns, and social commerce platforms including TikTok, Shopee, and other channels
• Oversee camera, lighting, and audio setups for studio and on-location shoots, including livestream sessions (e.g., TikTok LIVE, Shopee Live)
• Deliver polished final cuts, including colour grading, sound mixing, subtitles, and motion graphics
• Guide and mentor junior production team members on shooting techniques and editing workflows
• Work with the marketing team to shape creative direction, concepts, and storyboards aligned with campaign objectives
• Establish and improve production workflows, equipment management, and content schedules
• Optimise video formats for different platforms and ad placements, and use content performance data to refine production approach
• Stay ahead of short-form video and social commerce trends

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience in videography, video production, or camera operation
• Advanced proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects skills are a plus
• Strong hands-on expertise with professional cameras, lighting setups, and audio recording
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating a strong body of video production work (please include a link in your application)
• Experience producing short-form content for social commerce; livestream production experience is an advantage
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and lead shoots end to end
• Strong visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to give clear creative direction
