Events & Publicity Senior Executive/Executive

Singapore Bowling Federation

· Diploma in any discipline (Event Management, Sport Management, Mass Communications, Marketing is an advantage)

· Minimum of 2 years of working experience preferred

· Work experience in event management, sports events, or social media/digital marketing would be an advantage

· Knowledge of the sport of Tenpin Bowling ispreferred but not mandatory

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive (Google Sheets and Excel)

· Proficient in content creation tools such as Canva and video editing platforms like CapCut; adept at managing and creating content for social media channels

· Self-motivated & Resourceful

· Strong interpersonal skills and a proven team player

· Good communication and presentation skills

Events/Tournaments

  • Budget planningLogisticsVenue preparation and venue dressingWork plans and reports for pre and post eventTimely preparation and compilation of all event-specific collateral and administrative documents; e.g:Publicity, Registration Forms, Scoring Templates, Briefing Deck for stakeholders, Rules and RegulationsPrepare and submit comprehensive reports upon completion of tournaments/events/programmes
  • To be present at all tournaments/events/programmes organised by/as advised by the Federation, during or outside of office hours, including weekends and public holidays, to carry out assigned duties
  • Procure facilities, services, collaterals and equipment in accordance with the Federation’s guidelines; ensure timely and accurate delivery of purchased goods and services
  • To diligently carry out any duty and responsibility as directed by Department Manager / Executive Director
  • Work closely with the applicable Sub-committees to ensure the smooth execution of tournaments/events/programmes

Publicity & Social Media Management

  • Plan, curate and create publicity and engaging content on SBF’s website, digital and social media platforms
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/DMs promptly, and engage with the bowling community to build a strong online presence
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote upcoming tournaments, events, community programmes, and athlete achievements
  • Ensure all publicity materials align with SBF's brand identity and messaging.

Community development programmes

  • Engage grassroot community partners/stakeholders to build and expand sustainable bowling programmes
  • Provide support for all community projects organised by the Federation

General

  • Provide other general administrative assistance and logistic support for projects as and when required
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned
  • Be accountable for the “Confidentiality” of all information of SBF
