Aevice Health is a Singapore-based digital health start-up pioneering connected respiratory care through the world's smallest smart wearable stethoscope. Our flagship solution, AeviceMD, is an FDA-cleared and HSA-cleared remote patient monitoring platform that enables continuous monitoring of respiratory conditions, supporting healthcare providers and patients across the continuum of care.

Backed by leading healthcare and strategic investors including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Denka, A&D Company, and East Ventures, Aevice Health is expanding its commercial footprint across the United States and Australia

Position Overview

Aevice Health is seeking a driven and clinically minded Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of respiratory focused solutions built on the AeviceMD platform.

Working at the intersection of engineering, clinical practice and commercial strategy, you will define and own the product roadmap, translating customer insights, clinical needs and market opportunities into impactful healthcare solutions. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Product Engineering, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Commercial teams to guide products from concept through launch and continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex healthcare challenges, influencing cross-functional teams, and building digital health solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product roadmap for asthma and COPD solutions on AeviceMD platform , aligning product priorities with clinical, commercial and business objectives.

  • Translate customer feedback, clinical insights and market opportunities into well-defined product requirements and development plans.

  • Balance condition-specific features (e.g. adherence tracking, symptoms scoring, reliever-use logging, AI-assisted respiratory sign detection) against platform-wide priorities and hardware constraints.

  • Lead cross-functional product development by coordinating engineering, clinical, regulatory and commercial teams to deliver products on time and to a high standard.

  • Run end-to-end delivery for new features and solutions – sprint planning, timelines, dependency management, and risk tracking across firmware, embedded/hardware, mobile/web software, and cloud/data science workstreams.

  • Coordinate hardware–software integration cycles, including sensor/firmware updates, companion app releases, and cloud pipeline changes, ensuring tight synchronization across teams and vendors.

  • Manage the intersection of engineering and regulatory work, sequencing development sprints against verification & validation, risk management (ISO 14971), and submission timelines (FDA 510(k), HSA, TGA).

  • Act as the connective tissue between clinical/medical affairs, engineering, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams so nothing falls through the cracks between disciplines.

  • Conduct user research with clinicians, patients and healthcare partners to validate product concepts and inform product decisions.

  • Monitor product performance, adoption and customer feedback, driving continuous product enhancements and lifecycle management.

  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams to ensure products comply with applicable medical device regulations and design control requirements.

  • Partner with Commercial and Strategy teams to support go-to-market planning, solution positioning and market expansion initiatives.

  • Represent Aevice Health in engagements with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), research partners and industry stakeholders where required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Healthcare (RN, RT, MD or allied health), Business, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management within MedTech, Digital Health, Healthcare Technology, connected wearables or a related industry. Ideally with direct exposure to respiratory, cardiac or chronic disease monitoring products.

  • A track record of shipping hardware-connected software products – you understand the realities of firmware release cycles, sensor calibration, Bluetooth/connectivity constraints, and how they interact with app and cloud development.

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional product development from concept through launch.

  • Experience working with software-hardware integrated products, connected medical devices or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and the ability to translate clinical needs into product requirements.

  • Working clinical fluency in respiratory conditions (asthma, COPD) – you can speak credibly with pulmonologists, allergists, and care teams about disease management, adherence, and monitoring needs.

  • Understanding of remote patient monitoring / remote therapeutic monitoring (RPM/RTM) reimbursement and care delivery models is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with regulated medical device development, including FDA, HSA or other international regulatory frameworks, is advantageous.

Technical Fluency

  • Enough technical depth to have credible conversations with embedded/firmware engineers, mobile/web developers, and data scientists – you don’t need to write code, but you need to understand tradeoffs in signal processing, sensor data pipelines, and app architecture.

  • Familiarity with agile/scrum delivery, backlog tools (e.g. Jira, Linear), and cross-functional roadmapping tools.

  • Comfortable reading and contributing to technical specs, API contracts, and QA/verification test plans.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams without direct line management authority.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.

  • Proficient in collaboration tools, including Slack, Jira and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets and Drive).

  • Occasional regional and international travel may be required to support product development, customer engagements and industry events.
