About the role

This role involves managing full sets of accounts for clients, providing professional client service with timely reporting, and maintaining client databases.

You will prepare full sets of accounts for several entities, handle XBRL preparation, and manage internal office functions including reconciliation of accounts, management and cash flow reports, bookkeeping, and management accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing payments via internet banking, verifying supplier invoices, issuing sales invoices, following up on customer payments, and ensuring timely and accurate submission of GST, annual tax returns and other statutory filings.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage full sets of accounts for clients

  • Provide professional client service, ensuring timely reporting

  • Maintain and update client database

  • Prepare full sets of accounts for several entities

  • XBRL preparation for non-accounting clientele

  • Prepare reconciliation of accounts, management and cash flow reports

  • Handle bookkeeping and management accounts

  • Prepare payments via internet banking

  • Verify supplier invoices and issue payments

  • Issue sales invoices and follow up on customer payments

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Accounting / ACCA or equivalent

  • Good working knowledge of accounting standards and GST regulations

  • Possess a keen eye for details and strong analytical skills

  • Able to be hands-on and deadline oriented

  • Able to work independently and as a team

  • Experienced in using accounting software such as ABSS, Xero, Quickbooks etc.

  • Bilingual – English and Chinese

  • Minimum 1-2 years accounting working experience
