You'll play a key role in building, maintaining, and enhancing modern Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
As a Platform Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise platform services running across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Platform Operations
- Manage and maintain enterprise platform services, middleware, databases, messaging platforms, and container environments.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production issues.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and restoration activities.
Container & Platform Technologies
Work with modern container technologies including:
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Podman
Support enterprise platforms such as:
- MongoDB
- Microsoft SQL Server
- NGINX
- Apache HTTP Server
- IBM MQ
- Kafka
- MQTT
- ArcGIS
- Keycloak
Security & Reliability
- Implement infrastructure hardening based on CIS benchmarks and security best practices.
- Manage platform security, user access, and compliance requirements.
- Support disaster recovery planning and resilience initiatives.
Platform Engineering
- Deploy platform upgrades, security patches, and lifecycle improvements.
- Support change management and release activities with rollback planning.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams to deliver stable platform services.
Monitoring & Automation
- Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Monitor performance, capacity, and availability across enterprise platforms.
- Identify opportunities to automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
Documentation
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Produce reports on system performance, maintenance, and platform health.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in infrastructure administration or platform engineering.
- Strong knowledge of: Linux (RHEL), Windows Server, VMware, Enterprise server and storage infrastructure
- Experience administering container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools including GitLab and Ansible.
- Experience supporting enterprise technologies such as MongoDB, NGINX, Apache, IBM MQ, Kafka, ArcGIS, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of monitoring solutions such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Experience in pre-sales or tender preparation will be an added advantage.
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
- RHCSA / RHCE
- VMware VCP
- MongoDB Administrator Certification

Employment Details
- Salary: S$5,500 Basic (No AWS / No Variable Bonus)
- Contract: 1-year direct contract with client (extendable/convertible based on performance)
- Location: Ang Mo Kio
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
