Performance Test Lead (Singaporean Only)

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end performance testing activities for software applications and systems.

  • Define and implement performance test strategies, test plans, workload models, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter or equivalent.

  • Conduct performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing.

  • Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance tuning and optimization.

  • Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, database, network, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.

  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance using performance monitoring tools and dashboards.

  • Ensure performance testing activities are integrated into project delivery and release cycles.

  • Prepare and present performance test reports, findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Establish performance testing standards, best practices, and governance within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience leading performance testing initiatives for medium to large-scale enterprise systems.

  • Proven experience in designing and executing performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing.

  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter or equivalent.

  • Good understanding of application architecture, web technologies, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.

  • Strong knowledge of database concepts and SQL, with the ability to analyze database-related performance issues.

  • Experience analyzing application, infrastructure, network, and database performance bottlenecks.

  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project environments.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and release management processes.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
