Job Summary
Join a dynamic local SME freight forwarder as an Accounts Admin Officer to manage daily accounting tasks, vendor and bank reconciliations, GST returns, and support financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records
- Verify invoices and process payments promptly to maintain vendor relationships
- Monitor and ensure debtor payment are paid up promptly.
- Reconcile vendor and bank statements to ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare and maintain detailed accounting reports for internal use
- Compile and submit GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Organize and file accounting documents systematically for easy retrieval
- Providing secretarial assistance and other general admin duties
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, to support team and stakeholder interactions
- Apply experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to manage financial transactions
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Office tools to enhance productivity and accuracy
- Work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining clear communication across all organizational levels
- Availability to work full-time, five days a week at Ang Mo Kio office
- Ready to start immediately to support business continuity
